A Message from the Polemarch…

Greetings Brothers and Guests:

On behalf of the brothers of the award-winning Greenville (S.C.) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., I would earnestly like to welcome you to our chapter’s official website.  I invite you to explore our website to learn more about our efforts to improve the Upstate and its surrounding communities through effective action and sustained leadership.

Predicated upon the ideals of our charter members, we continue to be a visible entity in the Upstate through various philanthropic and service-based initiatives.  As our journey continues, we look forward to serving as a beacon to those in need.

The brothers of the Greenville (S.C.) Alumni Chapter have a deep commitment to public service, brotherhood and achievement.  I applaud every brother for his unswerving commitment to engaging in numerous civic and social initiatives that epitomize the chapter’s desire to “inspire service in the public interest.”  I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge four brothers that have been members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. for at least fifty (50) years: Brother Bennie Cunningham, Sr., Brother Fred Golden, Jr., Brother Louie Golden and Brother Chet Trower.  These brothers have accomplished extraordinary feats through ordinary desires to not rest on their laurels.

Additionally, we proactively seek to recruit, reclaim and retain brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.  In order to maintain the continued progress of the chapter, we invite any brother in the Greenville area that’s seeking to return to an active membership status to join us at our monthly chapter meetings.

As the 32nd Chapter Polemarch, I would like to thank you, again, for visiting our website.  We are grateful for your interest and solicit your support of our philanthropic and civic efforts.  I sincerely hope that if you’re interested in being a part of this dynamic organization – whether as a member, a project partner, a corporate sponsor or a friend – you’ll let us know!

Yours in Service,

Carlos J. Littlejohn, Chapter Polemarch
